(ReliableNews.org) – New York’s Democratic governor Kathy Hochul required all health care workers to receive at least one COVID-19 vaccine jab by Monday, September 27, or face termination. That same day, a three-judge panel from the United States Second Circuit Appeals Court set aside a temporary hold on New York City’s upcoming COVID-19 vaccine mandate for public school workers paving the way for a similar Friday deadline for educators and staff.
Massive crowds of people marched throughout the streets of New York City, protesting the mandates. Elad Eliahu, an independent videographer from Brooklyn, posted footage of an estimated crowd of more than 1,000 protesters flooding NYC streets.

Eliahu’s clips show protestors displaying anti-vaccine signs while chanting “my body, my choice” and calling on other New Yorkers to “wake up.”
The empire state had already been protesting for weeks in the wake of Democratic Mayor Bill DeBlasio’s emergency executive order requiring proof of vaccination for anyone accessing indoor dining, businesses, fitness centers, and entertainment venues. Portions of his order went into effect mid-August, and full enforcement kicked in on September 13.
So far, DeBlasio appears to be holding firm regarding his mandate, and Hochul recently announced her intention to replace health care workers with medically-trained National Guard members.
How is it that Democratic leaders support pregnant women’s rights to choose what to do with their bodies but ignore the rights of all citizens regarding COVID-19 vaccines?
