(ReliableNews.org) – President Joe Biden’s immigration policy has been a complete and utter failure. For 11 months the US-Mexican border has been in chaos. Now a governor on the frontlines of the disaster is taking steps to do what the Biden administration won’t.
On Tuesday, December 7, Arizona Governor Doug Ducey (R) announced he’s going to start deploying the state’s National Guard to the border. He said they will work out a strategy with Border Patrol. The news comes after reports of thousands of immigrants rushing the state’s border with Mexico to enter the US illegally. The governor also demanded the Biden administration do something about the crisis.
Recently, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas visited the West Coast, but Ducey said it was just an opportunity for photo-ops.
Where is @SecMayorkas? He’s hiding behind photo ops in Phoenix, then fleeing to San Francisco and San Diego. He’s ignoring the #DecemberDisaster and rescheduling planned trips to Yuma to avoid migrants. https://t.co/rjtVWjdEjK

Thus far, the White House hasn’t done anything to significantly reduce the number of migrants coming into the country. Vice President Kamala Harris was put in charge of the crisis in March. It’s been months since she updated the American people on what’s happening at the border or announced any plans to stem the flow of illegals. Biden is just as bad. It seems he’s washed his hands of the problem and is just letting it rage on.
In the fiscal year 2021, Border Patrol encountered nearly 1.6 million immigrants. That’s nearly four times the number of encounters from the previous year and the highest annual number on record. And this is all happening during a deadly pandemic. What is the president going to do to protect the American people?
