(ReliableNews.org) – Attorney General William Barr was on Capitol Hill this week to testify before the House Judiciary Committee for the first time. The testimony went exactly as you’d expect; Democrats attacked him and the head of the DOJ smacked their ignorance down. Although, one of the questions was particularly insulting.
During the July 28 questioning, House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler (D-NY) suggested Barr was politicizing his position and it was influencing his department’s prosecutions. Rep. Mike Johnson (R-LA) allowed the attorney general to respond to the allegations.
Barr urged lawmakers to point to one of President Donald Trump’s enemies that have been indicted. He explained he’s trying to “rectify the rule of law” and ensure everyone is treated fairly.
AG BARR: "I'm supposedly punishing the president's enemies and helping his friends. What enemies have I indicted?"
“Could you point to one indictment that has been under the department that you feel is unmerited?”pic.twitter.com/2isBC305uk

Democrats have been claiming they want alleged and convicted criminals to be given fair trials and sentences. They then turn around and complain when the government does so, like in the Roger Stone case. It seems as though Trump officials are damned if they do and damned if they don’t.
