(ReliableNews.org) – The mixed messages from the Biden administration regarding migrants and refugees have become mind-numbing the last several weeks. In mid-July, protests broke out in Cuba due to decades of failed leadership by the island nation’s Communist regime. It doesn’t seem the president will do them any favors.
On July 13, Alejandro Mayorkas, the Secretary of Homeland Security, announced that the United States wouldn’t accept refugees from Haiti or Cuba who arrived at the United States by sea. “If you take to the sea, you [won’t be welcomed into] the United States,” he stated, hammering the point.
So Biden send back legitimate victims of political persecution while letting in droves of Covid-infected illegals at the southern border

Then, on July 27, United States Coast Guard officials announced they returned 27 refugees to Cuba after they were captured attempting to enter US territorial waters near Florida on 2 separate vessels.
This report is particularly alarming in light of the flagrant hypocrisy it represents. The Biden administration has done next to nothing to stem the increasing flood of migrants and unaccompanied children at the US-Mexico border. Instead, the administration seems content to sit on its laurels and let people enter the country illegally, hoping to find a better life.
At the same time, administration officials seem all too eager to turn away refugees with concerns regarding their safety and that of family members. According to Mayorkas, any refugees arriving by sea with verifiable claims will be forwarded to unspecified third-party nations.
