Biden Says “Armageddon” Is Closer Than Ever Before
(ReliableNews.org) – Russian President Vladimir Putin has recently made a number of threats concerning nuclear war. The authoritarian leader has backed himself into a corner in Ukraine, and it seems to be enraging him. US President Joe Biden is becoming very concerned.
On Thursday, October 6, Biden spoke at a fundraiser for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC). ABC News reported during his speech, he said he knows Putin “fairly well” and doesn’t believe his Russian counterpart is “joking” when he makes threats about using “tactical nuclear weapons, or biological, or chemical weapons.” The president went on to say America has not “faced the prospect of Armageddon” since the 1960s Cuban Missile Crisis.
Wow. Biden at a Dem fundraiser tonight: “We have not faced the prospect of Armageddon since Kennedy and the Cuban missile crisis.” He says Putin is “not joking when he talks about potential use of tactical,” nuclear or biological weapons because his military is underperforming.

The president’s national security team has warned for months about the possibility of Putin deploying nuclear weapons in the war against its neighbor. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has also spoken out about the possibility of the invading forces using weapons of mass destruction. Most recently, the former comedian turned head of state asked NATO to launch preemptive strikes on Russia, but his spokesperson claimed he meant to say sanctions.
Biden didn’t mention whether he has a plan to stop Putin from using nuclear weapons. So far, the US position has not changed. American troops will not be deployed to get directly involved in the war unless the Russian leader strikes a NATO country.
What do you think about Biden’s remarks?
