(ReliableNews.org) – The Chinese government’s handling of the COVID-19 outbreak infuriated US lawmakers. In fact, some Republicans want officials in China to face sanctions. However, Americans aren’t the only ones who are demanding answers.
This week, more than 100 countries called for an investigation into the coronavirus pandemic. A resolution was put forward in a virtual meeting in the World Health Assembly. It doesn’t specifically name China, but it was clear they, along with the World Health Organization (WHO), were the target.

Chinese President Xi Jinping claimed he supports an investigation, but said his government has acted responsibly, openly and transparently. That’s obviously not true since it’s a fact they kept the severity of the virus secret while they stockpiled personal protective equipment. It’s clear the world can’t rely on the communist government to tell the truth, so an impartial investigation is necessary.
