(ReliableNews.org) – New York Governor Andrew Cuomo (D) is embroiled in two high profile scandals. There have been bipartisan calls for his resignation, but he refuses to leave. New reporting reveals the governor is making desperate moves to cling to power.
According to reports, Cuomo called lawmakers on Sunday, March 7, begging them not to make statements calling for him to resign. The phone calls allegedly took place after Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins (D) asked the governor to resign after more sexual harassment accusations were revealed.
On March 8, NY Attorney General Letitia James (D) announced Joon Kim, a former acting US Attorney for the Southern District of NY (SDNY), would head up the sexual harassment investigation into accusations against the governor.
My office has appointed former U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York Joon H. Kim and employment discrimination attorney Anne L. Clark to lead our investigation into sexual harassment allegations against Governor Cuomo.

Although Cuomo wants to maintain his power, it seems as though he has bigger issues to worry about. He is now under investigation by multiple law enforcement agencies. Losing his job might be the least of his worries.
