(ReliableNews.org) – The Democratic Party targeted Donald Trump years before the latest round of controversy surrounding the 2020 presidential election results. In fact, as The Washington Times reported on November 15, those efforts began shortly after the 2016 election.
An investigation by the Times revealed that the Obama administration quickly targeted President-elect Trump until his inauguration on January 20, 2017. A powerful resistance movement quickly arose, spearheaded by Democrats and aided by unlawful “FBI surveillance” and the nation’s liberal-operated media establishments.

Liberals called for Electoral College delegates to throw the election to Democratic rival Hillary Clinton. And there were numerous calls for Trump’s impeachment long before he was sworn into office.
Trump attorney John Dowd told the Times that Democrats did everything they could to trash, demonize, and undermine President-elect Trump’s efforts to form an administration. According to him, no administration ever received such unlawful opposition.
Democrats appear to be following that playbook again for the 2020 presidential election. Joe Biden claimed an election victory on November 7 and attempted to force General Services Administration leadership under Trump to authorize his official transition the following day.
The election results continue to change daily, along with numerous court cases filed by the Trump campaign. It’s time for the Democrats to back off and let democracy run its course.
