Did a Chinese Virologist Confirm Suspicions?

(ReliableNews.org) – In June, Harvard released a study that found the COVID-19 outbreak may have been spreading in China as early as August 2019. The conclusion was reached by looking at satellite images of traffic in Wuhan. A Chinese virologist, turned whistleblower, is now letting the world know what really happened.

Dr. Li-Meng Yan, an expert in immunology and virology, told Fox News she believes the government knew about the pandemic long before it was revealed to the world. In fact, her supervisors refused to take her research into consideration when the virus began. According to the doctor, she was asked to look at a SARS-like outbreak in Wuhan in December 2019.

The government wasn’t letting researchers in the country, so she had to dig around on her own. Yan alleges one of her friends who works at the Center for Disease Control and Prevention in China said the government knew the virus was being spread via human-to-human contact long before it was made public.

Now, Yan is in the US and afraid for her life. She believes her government might kill her if she goes back, but claims she wants the world to know the truth.

If what the doctor is saying is true, it wouldn’t be a big surprise. It’s obvious the Chinese government was keeping secrets. The question is: What’s going to be done about it?
