(ReliableNews.org) – Democratic politicians backed up by the mainstream media mocked former President Donald Trump when he suggested the COVID-19 virus originated in China and then instituted a travel ban on the country in February 2020. Joe Biden posted a tweet at the time criticizing Trump for his “record of hysteria, xenophobia, and fear-mongering.” At the end of April 2020, Trump undercut US intelligence services and reasserted his claim that the pandemic started at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
However, it turns out Trump may have been right. On May 25, the Biden administration called on China to cooperate with a new World Health Organization investigation into the pandemic’s origins. The following day, Biden announced he was giving intelligence agencies 90 days to provide a definitive answer regarding the origins of COVID-19.
Donald Trump spoke out about the recent turn of events during a Fox Nation interview on Wednesday, June 23. He reminded viewers of Democratic-led efforts to disregard and even cancel his theory regarding COVID-19 and China.
"I called it a long time ago." In an interview with @NBSaphierMD, former President Trump challenges Democrats for dismissing him early on the Wuhan lab leak theory. He renewed his call for China to pay for the damages sustained by the United States and other countries due to the coronavirus. He conceded the possibility that the Wuhan lab accidentally released the virus. However, he thinks China should have to pay even more in damages if it turns out the pandemic was created by accident.
Investigations are moving quickly and more and more people are on board with the idea that China was somehow responsible. We will keep you updated on the search for COVID’s origins as more information becomes available.
