Trump ENDS Speculation – “No Chance…”

(ReliableNews.org) – Former President Donald Trump has not revealed whether he intends to run in 2024, but he remains at the forefront of the Republican Party. The 45th POTUS spoke at a conservative event in Florida, where during his speech he made it clear he wouldn’t be silenced.

On Saturday, July 23, Trump delivered the keynote address at the Turning Point USA Student Action Summit in Tampa. He discussed the possibility of running for a second term, saying he “may just have to do it again.”

The former POTUS’ speech came a few days after the January 6 Committee held its eighth hearing before going on break. House lawmakers accused Trump of inciting the attack on the Capitol. Some pundits have speculated the former president is done as a result of the congressional probe.

Trump put the speculation to bed, telling the crowd of Conservatives that if he decided against running again, his critics would probably immediately stop persecuting him. He went on to say that’s what the Left wants him to do, but “there’s no chance” he’d give in to them.

Trump also discussed the issues he sees in schools around the country, saying leaders need to prohibit teachers from giving lessons on “ inappropriate racial, sexual, and political material to America’s children in any form.”

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R), who many consider the former president’s biggest competition for the GOP nomination in 2024, also spoke at the event. Like Trump, DeSantis has not announced his candidacy for president.
