(ReliableNews.org) – Noted author and freelance journalist Andy Ngo has a long-running history with Antifa members. He embedded with West Coast Antifa groups during the 2020 riots that plagued American cities in the wake of George Floyd’s death last May. He detailed those experiences in his latest book, “Unmasked: Inside Antifa’s Radical Plan to Destroy Democracy.”
On Wednesday, June 2, he reported that Antifa members attacked him while he was covering protests in Portland, Oregon, on May 28. He posted several photographs of his injuries on his Twitter page, along with a lengthy thread discussing the incident.

“Antifa tried to kill me again,” Ngo tweeted. Continuing, he wrote that a “masked mob” chased and beat him until he was able to find shelter inside a local hotel. “There is no doubt… I would not be here today” had he not eventually managed to outrun them.
A medic later escorted Ngo through the hotel’s back door to a waiting ambulance and the local emergency room. He reported that at least one Antifa member was arrested for taking part in the attack.
