(ReliableNews.org) – Geraldo Rivera is well-known for his hot-headed temperament. He had his nose broken during a well-publicized clash during a 1988 episode of his talk show whose guests included skinheads, white supremacists alongside militant Jewish activists, and a black activist. It appears he’s back to his old tricks.
Rivera’s attempt to prey on viewers’ emotions while discussing the Israeli-Hamas fighting during an appearance with Fox News host Sean Hannity on Wednesday, May 19. He tore into Israel, claiming that Palestinians were being killed in the clash at 15 to 20 times the rate of Israelis.
Hannity responded that Hamas started the conflict by firing rockets from schools and hospitals. Rivera responded that “dozen of Palestinian children [are] dead.”
Next, Rivera called for a ceasefire, and Hannity responded that Israel needed to defeat terrorism in the region. Rivera responded asking how that was possible. “[By] killing all the Palestinians?”
Geraldo: Stop attacking me punk! I’m sick of you Bongino. You’re a punk!
Bongino: You’re an out of control lunatic

That’s when co-panelist and well-known conservative political commentator Dan Bongino steps in, and a verbal brawl quickly ensued. Bongino tore into Rivera, telling him he was “getting sick of [Rivera’s] emotional game.” Rivera shot back, repeatedly calling Bongino a “punk” and telling him, “I’m sick of you.”
Let’s hope that cooler heads prevail in ongoing peace efforts in the region.
