(ReliableNews.org) – In the last year, multiple stars have been attacked with objects while on stage. Actress Florence Pugh is the latest victim.
On December 3, Pugh attended a panel about “Dune: Part Two” in São Paolo, Brazil. She was on stage with her co-stars Zendaya, Timothée Chalamet, Austin Butler, and Director Denis Villeneuve when an object was thrown at the stage. The object hit her in the face and then fell to the ground near her feet. She appeared to say, “Ow” or “Wow” when it hit her and then touched her face.
Pugh’s co-stars also appeared shocked by the object hitting her and checked to see if she was okay. The actress bent over to pick the object up, but it’s unclear what hit her.

Pugh was the latest of a string of stars to be hit with objects thrown at them. In July, rapper Latto was performing at Rolling Loud in Germany when a fan threw something at her. The rapper spoke directly to the unruly fan in the middle of a song and told them that if they threw something again, she was going to beat them up.
The month prior, Bebe Rexha was hit in the face with a phone while she was performing at a concert in New York. Videos of the incident showed the singer grabbing her face and falling to her knees on the floor. She was taken to the hospital after the incident and suffered a cut above her eye that required stitches. Nicolas Malvagna, 27, was arrested for allegedly throwing the phone.
Rapper Drake was also hit with a cell phone while he was performing. Fortunately for him, it hit him in the leg. Singer Harry Styles was smacked in the face by what was reportedly a bracelet during a concert at Vienna’s Ernst Happel Stadion.
In the strangest incident, singer P!NK was on stage in July when a fan threw her mother’s ashes at her. The singer said that she didn’t know how she felt about the incident.
