The body of Sol Pais, the 18-year-old who went from Miami to Denver on Monday night after making threats to Columbine high school, was found on Wednesday. Though Pais immediately purchased a shotgun & ammo after arriving in Denver, it appears that she never made it to her Columbine destination.
The 20th anniversary of the Columbine High School massacre that left 13 people dead fell on this same week, which may be why the young adult’s fascination with the shooting went from interested to dangerous.
Because of her threats, 19 school districts in Colorado were closed. An update from the FBI gave the community some relief.
UPDATE: THERE IS NO LONGER A THREAT TO THE COMMUNITY. More information to follow shortly. #FindSol
