
July 4th Had A “Dark Side” This Year – Witnesses Confess Details Of What Happened
(ReliableNews.org) – Independence Day is supposed to be a celebration of everything great about the US. Families spend their time enjoying the summer heat while eating watermelon and watching parades march down picturesque main streets around the country. Unfortunately, this year, the day’s festivities were shattered by gunfire.
On Monday, July 4, Highland Park, Illinois residents were watching their city’s annual Fourth of July parade when shots rang out. People began running for their cover but sadly, seven people lost their lives. Dozens of attendees were injured in the mayhem. Police captured the alleged shooter, 21-year-old Robert “Bobby” E. Crimo III later that day. On Tuesday, prosecutors charged him with seven counts of first-degree murder.

Two police officers suffered injuries during a shooting in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania during the city’s fireworks display. One of the cops suffered a gunshot wound to the shoulder and the other suffered a graze wound to the head. Both were released from the hospital that night.
Additionally, over the July Fourth weekend, 13 people were shot in New York City and 3 died in six separate incidents. Six people suffered gunshots in three incidents in Kansas City, Missouri. In Haltom City, Texas, four people, including three police officers, suffered injuries in a shooting. Four people suffered wounds and one died in a shooting in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Six people were shot in Richmond, Virginia. Two people were shot in northwest Miami. A shooting in Denver, Colorado claimed the life of one man and injured three others and the list goes on.
