(ReliableNews.org) – Now that Democrats temporarily control the White House and both Congressional chambers, they are doing their best to spend money at a breakneck pace. They pushed through President Biden’s $1.9 trillion relief package with no support from Republicans and appear prepared to do the same with his $2.3 trillion infrastructure plan.
Meanwhile, Republicans are doing what they do best, working to relieve Americans of the mounting national debt accompanying Democratic policies.
Forbes reported on April 16 that a group of five Republican Senators led by Sen. Cynthia Lummis (R-WY) is preparing to introduce a bill aimed at creating a bipartisan commission to determine how to reduce the national deficit and balance the budget within a decade.

That bill, the Sustainable Budget Act, isn’t expected to raise taxes on working-class Americans since four of the five Senators introducing the bill have signed Grover Norquist’s pledge never to raise taxes.
It’s good to see that someone in Washington — Republicans — cares about helping Americans keep their hard-earned money in their own pockets.
