(ReliableNews.org) – The mainstream media and liberal politicians initially slammed the New York Post for breaking the story about Hunter Biden’s missing laptop just before the 2020 presidential election. Legacy news organizations even went as far as accusing the Post of spreading Russian misinformation. However, a newly released book confirms some of the allegations presented then.
“The Bidens: Inside the First Family’s Fifty-Year Rise to Power” hit the bookstores on Sept. 21. The book confirmed the authenticity of several emails found on Hunter Biden’s laptop. The exploration of the Biden family success was authored by POLITICO correspondent Ben Schreckinger.
NEW in Playbook this morning, from "THE BIDENS" book out today: Evidence that at least some of the alleged Hunter Biden laptop material is genuinehttps://t.co/RHm4b2mHF9

According to Schreckinger’s research, an unnamed individual with independent access to the emails verified Biden’s receipt of an email from a Ukrainian businessman thanking him for introducing him to his father, then-Vice President Joe Biden, in 2015. The anonymous source also confirmed Hunter received an email in 2017 proposing the breakup of a joint venture with Chinese executives.
Schreckinger also discovered that several emails found in the leaked cache from Hunter Biden’s laptop matched emails recently released by a Swedish government agency.
It remains to be seen how much additional data from the laptop can be confirmed. Schreckenger conceded in a recent interview that other material in the cache could be fake. On the other hand, Hunter Biden already acknowledged that the laptop could be his during an April interview with CBS News.
