(ReliableNews.org) – The White House has been negotiating with Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) for months to pass President Joe Biden’s Build Back Better human infrastructure bill. The senator repeatedly expressed his concerns about the cost and some of the far-left policies within the bill. On December 19, the negotiations came to an end when he announced he would not support the legislation — and Democrats quickly attacked him.
During an interview on “Fox News Sunday,” Manchin cited inflation, geopolitical unrest, and the COVID-19 pandemic as reasons he could not support the legislation. He was particularly concerned about putting the country deeper into debt while fighting a pandemic.

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) quickly came out against her Democrat colleague. Instead of listening to his concerns and trying to understand where he was coming from, she called his reasoning “bull****” and said the people of his state would directly benefit from the bill.
The White House also released a blistering statement attacking the senator, implying he was a liar.

Manchin reversed his position on Build Back Better this morning, we will continue to press him to see if he will reverse his position yet again, to honor his prior commitments & be true to his word.” pic.twitter.com/1YiP1aOTrC

The Democrat attacks on the senator show how disrespectful some of the members of his party can be. Manchin has never questioned Omar’s or Biden’s integrity the way they are questioning his.
What do you think about the way Democrats are treating Manchin? Should he cut ties with the party?
