(ReliableNews.org) – Three of the biggest threats to America’s national security and standing in the world are: Iran, Russia and China. All three countries were accused of trying to meddle in the 2020 elections. They each have strained (to put it mildly) relations with the US. Now they are working together to cause more concern.
On February 8, Russian Ambassador to Iran Levan Dzhagaryan announced his country would be holding naval exercises with both China and Iran in the Indian Ocean. The militaries will reportedly rehearse ways to ensure the safe passage of ships, and search and rescue operations. This is the second time in as many years that the countries are conducting these drills.
“The next multilateral naval exercises will take place in the northern part of the Indian Ocean in mid-February 2021,” Levan Dzhagaryan, the ambassador, told RIA in an interview.

The drills come as tensions are at an all time high between Iran and the US. Biden has said that he wants to negotiate with the country, but its government has become more hostile in recent months, including threatening America just this week.
US relations with China and Russia aren’t much better. It makes one wonder why the countries are really coming together. Are they just practicing innocent drills or trying to find ways to undercut America on the international stage?
