Judge Rules Elections Board In Virginia Broke The Law

(ReliableNews.org) – Serious questions regarding the possibility of systematic election tampering and voting irregularities continue to surround the 2020 presidential election results. Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) told ABC News “a great deal of evidence” proving that election fraud existed, warranting an in-depth investigation.

Dominion Voting Systems filed a lawsuit against Donald Trump’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani on January 25, claiming his accusations of voting machine fraud harmed their reputation. Giuliani punched back, stating the lawsuit would allow him to investigate Dominion’s practices fully.

That same day, a state circuit judge held that a Virginia Elections Board rule regarding the counting of mail-in ballots with missing postmarks up to three days after the election violated the state statute. Judge William Eldridge also banned the further use of this practice in future elections.

This case serves as a perfect example of the benefit of continued investigations and court review of election practices. There is no other way to provide for the legitimacy of future elections without sorting out the problems from the last one, and taking appropriate actions to correct any deficiencies or illegalities. The question remains, will anyone be held accountable?
