(ReliableNews.org) – After months of relative silence, Ye West (formerly known as Kanye West) has recently been back in the news. The rapper is once again fighting with his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, and others in the industry. Now, he’s also battling social media giants.

On Friday, October 7, Meta suspended West from Instagram after he allegedly made anti-Semitic remarks. The company did not specifically cite what the rapper said that was objectionable. After being suspended from the platform, the music mogul headed over to Twitter and posted a photo of himself and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and joked they were once friends.

The rapper’s post didn’t last very long on Twitter. The social media platform suspended his account days later for posting an anti-Semitic message. Los Angeles’ Holocaust Museum released a statement urging the rapper to visit its site to learn more about the atrocities of WWII.

West recently sat down with Fox News’ host Tucker Carlson to discuss a wide range of topics. Motherboard, a part of Vice, claimed it obtained unaired footage from the interview. Clips reportedly show him making more anti-Semitic remarks.

What do you think about the recent drama? Should Meta and Twitter reinstate Ye’s posting privileges on the platforms?
