Trump Locked Up For LIFE? Legal Experts Reveal SHOCKING Prediction
(ReliableNews.org) – The FBI carried out an unprecedented raid on former President Donald Trump’s residence in Florida. The unsealed search warrant shows the Department of Justice is investigating him for possible violations of the Espionage Act. What exactly does that mean?
The unsealed warrant stated the FBI was looking for evidence pertaining to possible violations of “18 U.S.C. §§ 793, 2071, or 1519.” Those are US codes corresponding with sections of the Espionage Act that deal with the handling of classified information. A receipt from the raid shows agents allegedly collected multiple sets of documents labeled classified and top secret.
According to reports, if Trump were ever indicted and convicted, he could face up to 33 years in prison.

Violations of the Espionage Act carry prison terms of up to 10 years. The former POTUS is also being accused of possibly violating two other laws related to records removal, which carry prison terms of up to 23 years combined.
Of course, the DOJ has to prove beyond a reasonable doubt the former POTUS committed crimes if they charge him. Trump has said he declassified all the documents he had in his custody, so there’s no way he could have broken any laws. He has also accused the country’s top law enforcement agency of carrying out a vendetta against him.
What do you think about the former president’s handling of classified documents?
