Here we go again…
Another Christmas classic is being attacked and being pulled from music department stores because it has the word “guns” in the lyrics.
According to a CNN report, “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas” is being purposely omitted from holiday playlists across department stores for including the lyrics,
“A pair of hop-a-long boots and a pistol that shoots.”
“It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas” was penned by Meredith Wilson (best known for 1957’s The Music Man) and was released in 1951, according to historical music archives.
In the recent past, other songs like “Baby It’s Cold Outside” have also been pulled because the intolerant-left said it was sexist.
Next thing you know, they’ll be coming after Ralphie in “A Christmas Story” because he wants a Red Ryder BB gun!
In the name of Christmas and tolerance, here’s Bing Crosby singing the recently, banned from stores, “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas.”
Do you find the lyrics in the song “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas” offensive?
