(ReliableNews.org) – Free and fair elections are crucial to the survival of any democracy. However, wealthy liberal elites like failed Democratic presidential hopeful Mike Bloomberg appear hellbent on derailing any sense of fairness in the November presidential race.
Convinced Florida is a pivotal state, Bloomberg pledged to pay past-due court costs and fines of more than 30,000 minority felons in Florida. Recent Florida law changes allow convicted felons the right to vote, but only if they completed their terms to include fulfilling all legal, financial obligations.
Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) responded to the Sept. 22 announcement by contacting Florida’s attorney general, Ashley Moody, about opening a criminal investigation into Bloomberg for election-related bribery.
There may even be a criminal investigation already underway.

Gaetz elaborated on his allegation during an interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity. “It’s a third-degree felony” to influence whether a person votes or not by providing “something of value.”
In this instance, “it clearly does,” Gaetz emphatically stated. Continuing, he pointed out Bloomberg sealed his fate by announcing his plan to pay off potential voters’ legal debts.
The operative question is whether Florida officials can address this issue with only about six weeks left before the November election. For that reason, conservatives must get out and vote. The future of American democracy itself might be at stake.
