(ReliableNews.org) – It’s official now — the senate wrapped up Donald Trump’s second impeachment trial on February 13, and he was acquitted by a vote of 57 to 43. Trump spoke with Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) shortly after the vote telling him he was “ready to move on” and help Republicans retake control of the Senate and the House in the upcoming midterm elections in 2022.
It was quite a different story on the other side of the aisle. Democrats started turning on their own impeachment managers, expressing outrage at their decision to cave to Trump’s lawyers and end the trial without calling any witnesses.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) took things to the extreme, having a complete meltdown on camera for the whole world to see a few minutes after Trump’s acquittal. She hijacked a press conference called by Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) and other Democratic prosecutors.
Clearly disturbed, she accused Senate Republicans of “cowardly” behavior, of failing to act out of fear. She also tore into Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY), calling him “pathetic” for refusing to convict Trump.
Trump called last week’s impeachment trial the latest round of the “greatest witch hunt” in the nation’s history. Pelosi’s meltdown leaves little doubt he’s correct.
