New Book Alleges Biden Was Under Intense Stress Over Border Crisis

(ReliableNews.org) – The crisis at the US southern border is one of the biggest issues faced by President Joe Biden’s administration. More than 2 million migrants have illegally entered the US since he took office. A new book claims the problem has been causing the POTUS a lot of stress.

Journalist Chris Whipple’s book “The Fight of His Life: Inside Joe Biden’s White House” will reportedly give readers an inside look into what has happened in the West Wing since January 2021. According to Fox News, the book claims the POTUS raged about the crisis at the border, “cursing [and] dropping f-bombs.” An unnamed senior advisor reportedly told the author Biden was angry because of the “lack of solutions.”

The book also confirms reports from 2021 that Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have had a strained relationship. POLITICO reports Whipple wrote that the president called the VP “a work in progress.” Administration officials are quoted as saying, “Biden was annoyed” by accusations the tasks Harris was given were hurting her politically. She supposedly begged him to be involved in the passage of the voting rights bill, but then she failed to carry it over the finish line.

The book is set for release on January 17, 2023.
