(ReliableNews.org) – Republicans have turned their attention to the 2022 midterm elections and the genuine possibility of retaking control of the House of Representatives. House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) traveled to Mar-a-Lago earlier this year and secured former President Donald Trump’s support.
The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) released a memo on April 26 discussing the results of a recent poll, and it doesn’t paint a pretty picture for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and House Democrats.

According to that poll, Pelosi’s approval rating slipped 7% to a paltry 38% since February. When asked about Democrats’ support for open borders, 75% of voters polled said they thought the current situation at the nation’s border was “a crisis or a major problem.” A majority of 57% said they didn’t think the Democrats’ coronavirus relief package helped them and their households.
If House Democrats continue forcing their failed socialist programs and lax border security measures on Americans, they very well could end up losing the 2022 midterms by a landslide. Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said as much during a recent interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity. Let’s hope it turns out that way. It’s time to take America back from Democratic control.
