(ReliableNews.org) – Political correctness is sweeping across America. Army bases and historical monuments are all being targeted by people who want to erase the past. Now, it’s hitting breakfast aisles.
On June 17, Quaker Oats announced it was rebranding and changing the name of Aunt Jemima pancake mix and syrup. The company said it knows the character is “based on a racial stereotype” so it’s being changed.

Aunt Jemima has been around for 130 years. Her clothing changed as America changed, but the brand is an American staple. Recently, people have expressed displeasure over the brand, and apparently Quaker Oats gave in. How exactly a breakfast brand is going to impact police reform and bring the country closer together is unclear.
