(ReliableNews.org) – President Donald Trump is currently fighting in court to make sure all of the legal ballots are counted in the 2020 election. The media projected Joe Biden won the race, but the current POTUS disputes their claims. And the Republican Party supports his ongoing fight.
On Sunday, November 8, Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) said he believes the president “still has a path to victory.” Other senators and representatives echoed the lawmaker’s sentiments, including Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY). He said Trump has every right to keep fighting in court.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said President Trump was completely within his rights to look into ‘irregularities’ from last week’s election and did not acknowledge Biden as president-elect or Harris as vice president-elect https://t.co/9lJLRAK7ks pic.twitter.com/QhoWAVEYrL

The Republican Party tried to warn America about the possibility of a contested election for months leading to November 3. Lawmakers said the mail-in voting scheme would raise questions of fraud, and that’s exactly what happened. We might not know who the next president is until mid-December. But that’s okay, it’s better to be safe than sorry.
