(ReliableNews.org) – The threat China poses to the world is becoming increasingly more obvious. The communist country is accused of unleashing a deadly virus across the globe that killed millions of people. In the US alone, more than 600,000 people lost their lives as a result of complications from the virus. Then there is the problem of the genocide taking place in China. Now, there is a major concern about the government stockpiling nuclear weapons and that is why Republicans are asking President Joe Biden to take action.
On June 8, Reps. Mike Rogers (R-AL), Devin Nunes (R-CA) and Michael McCaul (R-TX) sent Biden a letter about the issue. The lawmakers said the House Armed Services Committee recently heard testimony from the Commander of US Strategic Command, Admiral Charles
Richard, about the dangers China poses. The admiral said the communist government recently moved a part of its nuclear weapons into a Launch on Warning posture. They are also rapidly adding to their stockpile of weapons.

In order to stop the threat, the Republicans want Biden to do three things. First, they’d like him to release an interagency strategy outlining how the administration is going to get China on board with “meaningful arms control negotiations.” Second, they’d like a report on whether the country is violating the Nuclear Non-proliferation Treaty. Finally, the congressman asked the president to release a threat assessment on both China and Russia, specifically on their nuclear, biological, and chemical weapons programs.
As of this writing, the administration has not responded to the letter sent by the congressmen.
