
(ReliableNews.org) – Earlier this week, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) thought it’d be a swell idea to threaten Supreme Court Justices Brett Kavanaugh and Neil Gorsuch. While discussing an abortion case that was in front of the Court, the senator said they would “pay the price” if they ruled against the Liberal agenda.
Shortly after the senator opened his big mouth without thinking, Chief Justice John Roberts clapped back:

Now, Schumer has found his common sense and apologized for the remarks he made. In a speech on the Senate floor, he said he “should not have used the words” and said his words were not intended to be taken the way they were.
Perhaps next time, he will recognize his position as the second most powerful man in the Senate and think before he speaks. Our Supreme Court has a hard enough job without senators threatening them.
