(ReliableNews.org) – Nearly six months into President Joe Biden’s administration, the border crisis is still raging. Hundreds of thousands of immigrants have poured into the US while Border Patrol has released many of them into American cities on Biden’s orders. Now, states along the border are getting help from Republicans.
In June, “Texas Governor Greg Abbott and Arizona Governor Doug Ducey, both Republicans”, asked fellow governors “to help secure the border” in their states. Florida, South Dakota, Ohio and others responded by sending police resources and even National Guard troops. The officers and troops will secure the border and patrol the streets along it looking for illegals and criminals. In some cases, like with the Ohio National Guard, they will just provide support to Border Patrol.

While states try to figure out how to secure the border themselves, the Biden administration doesn’t seem to be doing much of anything. Sure, Vice President Kamala Harris finally visited, but what has come out of that trip? The White House has not given the American people any more information. Instead, the president is allowing states to shoulder the burden of fixing the crisis that should have never happened in the first place.
