(ReliableNews.org) – Legitimate questions remain regarding the legitimacy of the 2020 general elections. Legislatures in 47 states have either passed or are considering passing new election laws as part of an effort to eliminate problems in the future. Meanwhile, Democrats are trying to pass a broad-reaching federal election law.
The “For the People Act” has already passed in the Democratic-controlled House but stalled in the Senate. The clear intent of the proposed legislation is to knee-cap state-level efforts enacting new election laws. It appears that Democrats are afraid of fair elections and want to prevent the states from passing common-sense voting measures.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) went off on those efforts and the bill itself on May 12. Cruz called it as he sees it, stating that it’s “the most radical” bill the Senate has considered in his near-decade of service there. He also said it was “the most dangerous [piece of] legislation” under consideration by the US Congress.
Continuing, Cruz called it a throwback to the nation’s disgraceful period of Jim Crow laws, laws that were “bigoted, racist,” and stripped millions of the ability to vote.
Texas Republicans adopted a new slogan last year — “We Are the Storm!” It appears Sen. Cruz took that message to heart.
