(ReliableNews.org) – Former President Donald Trump made foreign policy one of his top priorities while he was in office. The Left often criticized him for his decision to focus on relationships with dangerous regimes like Iran, North Korea, and Russia. His plan appeared to pay off during his time in office. He was the first president since Jimmy Carter not to enter American troops in a new battle. Now, he’s promising to restore peace again.
On May 21, Trump shared a headline from The New York Times on his TRUTH social account stating that President Joe Biden opened a path that will allow Ukrainian pilots to learn to fly F-16 fighter jets. The 45th POTUS slammed his successor for “bring[ing] the world ever closer to nuclear war.” He went on to say he was the only candidate running for the White House who could stop World War 3 from starting.
Trump declared he would “end the killing and bloodshed and bring peace to Europe and the World!”

This isn’t the first time Trump has made promises like that. In late March, Trump held his first 2024 campaign rally in Waco, Texas. During the event, he told his supporters that he would end the Russian war on Ukraine in less than 24 hours.
Trump accused the Biden Administration of refusing to negotiate with Putin. He said he’s “the only candidate to make [the] promise” that he’d end the war so quickly. He went on to say he was going to “stand in the way of the Third World War we are heading for.”
In early May, the former POTUS once again pledged to end the conflict within 24 hours of taking office. Not everyone agrees it’s possible. Nonetheless, Trump hopes to make it a reality, and have a second chance at making America (and the world) great again in 2024. He just has to sell the message to voters.
