(ReliableNews.org) – Former President Donald Trump has remained relatively tight-lipped about the proposition of running for a second term in 2024. When asked, he typically says his current focus is helping Republicans regain control of the House and Senate in the upcoming 2022 midterm elections. However, he recently dropped a major hint about the prospect.
The former president posted a statement on his Save America website on Wednesday, October 27. He started by blasting the Democrat’s plan to impose a “Billionaires Tax” on America’s elite, presumably to pay for their multi-trillion-dollar reconciliation bill.

Trump predicted the country’s wealthiest citizens and companies would retaliate by moving to other countries, “leaving the [US] high and dry.” A couple of sentences later, he dropped his bomb.
Trump wrote he wondered if he would be “allowed to run” for president in 2024 if he left the country to avoid paying for the Democrat’s plan. He concluded, writing that he would “stick it out” and remain in the United States although most other billionaires wouldn’t.
Recent polling indicates that Trump would easily take the Republican nomination if he decided to run for president again. Even better, his current approval rating is higher than President Joe Biden’s.
What do you think? Should Trump run for president again?
