(ReliableNews.org) – Former President Donald Trump is still heavily involved in politics. Republicans, like Senator Ted Cruz (TX) have even gone down to Mar-a-Lago in Florida to speak to the former POTUS about the upcoming midterm elections.
Recently, Jason Miller, Trump’s spokesperson revealed one of his priorities in an interview with the Washington Post published on May 8 and explained what is important to the former president. Currently, one of his highest priorities is defeating Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) in the 2022 GOP primary.
The congresswoman was one of the most vocal supporters of the second Trump impeachment. The 45th president has also said she is a “warmonger” and doesn’t believe she has much support within her own state. She’s certainly lost support in the national party. House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) and House Minority Whip Steve Scalise (R-LA) are supporting a movement to oust Cheney from her leadership position. It’s increasingly starting to look like she is on an island all by herself which doesn’t bode well for her chances in 2022.
