(ReliableNews.org) – Former President Donald Trump has remained relatively quiet since his departure from the White House earlier this year. He has spoken to leading Republicans like House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) and others to show his support for taking back the House and Senate during the 2022 midterm elections.
The Gateway Pundit reported on April 24 that Trump is backing a new conservative group called the America Alliance. The group plans to raise funds by having members pay annual dues and will donate up to $100K to approved candidates and organizations.

Trump released a statement noting that America Alliance and his other political groups would help conservative candidates compete with Democratic fund-raising efforts. Republicans have experienced a “fundraising disadvantage” for “years,” he explained.
However, thanks to the rise of conservative groups like America Alliance, “we’re going to beat Democrats at their own [fundraising] game,” he stated.
The addition of the America Alliance to Trump’s other fundraising groups and political committees further cements his control over the Republican Party.
