(ReliableNews.org) – In 2016, Virginia Roberts Giuffre, one of the alleged victims Jeffrey Epstein, filed a defamation suit after ex-girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell called her a liar. On July 15 a federal judge unsealed dozens of documents related to that case. The docs show that Maxwell had a very convenient memory problem when Giuffre came forward.
According to the documents, Maxwell claimed she never took a flight with the alleged victim aboard Epstein’s private plane. However, flight logs show the two actually traveled on the convicted pedophile’s plane at least 23 times. Giuffre alleges Maxwell recruited her and then trafficked her when she was just 17-years-old. Her attorneys said it’s remarkable that the British socialite seems to have “total amnesia” about flying with Giuffre. The court documents also reveal Epstein’s ex was malicious because of her “extraordinary lack of memory about her involvement in the abuse.”

Maxwell is currently in federal custody awaiting charges related to Epstein’s alleged sex trafficking ring. The socialite is accused of recruiting four teenage girls for the pedophile to abuse. Prosecutors also charged her with a count of perjury related to the Giuffre lawsuit. If she is found guilty during the November trial, she faces up to 35 years in prison.
