(ReliableNews.org) – Over 30,000 people lost their lives in the Mexican Drug War last year. In January, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador’s government admitted over 60,000 people are missing in the country. Now, as Mexico battles the COVID-19 pandemic, they’re being forced to fight cartels too.
Last week, President López Obrador ordered the Mexican military back on the streets for four more years. The decision came as cartel violence in the country continues to rage. Human rights groups are angry about his decision, but what exactly is he supposed to do if he wants to stop the cartels from killing freely?
As Mexico’s government tries to get the violence under control, President Donald Trump is making sure the construction on the wall continues.

Democrats and other social justice warriors are still mad about the wall, but look at Mexico. Do we need that violence spilling over into our country? Absolutely not. We need to protect ourselves while the Mexican president tries to end his country’s war.
