Washington Post’s Robinson Says Trump Supporters Must Be Deprogrammed

Washington, DC / USA - Nov. 14, 2020: Thousands of Trump supporters gather at the Supreme Court to show their support for President Trump after the election.

(ReliableNews.org) – It seems as though the language from the Left is getting increasingly more inflammatory. Political pundits masquerading as journalists are some of the worst offenders. Recently, an editor for a prominent newspaper proved that during a MSNBC interview.

On Tuesday, January 12, Washington Post Associate Editor Eugene Robinson appeared on the Liberal network to speak to 1619 Project creator Nikole Hannah-Jones. He asked the “journalist” about what it will take to get Republicans “deprogrammed” because they’re part of the “Trumpist cult.” Hannah-Jones said she didn’t know, but said President Trump’s supporters need to face “consequences.”

There you have it. Two people who claim to be journalists, speaking to one another on cable television acting as though they are partisan political pundits. It isn’t hard to believe why President Trump and his supporters think the mainstream media is a joke. The fact that these two so-called journalists would even insinuate that 75,000,000 Americans are a part of some kind of cult is demeaning and the thought that they’re discussing the possible deprogramming of Trump supporters is a terrifying and equally ridiculous prospect. What does that even mean?
