(ReliableNews.org) – On his first day in office, President Joe Biden issued 15 executive orders reversing the policies of his predecessor, former President Donald Trump. Nearly nine months later, Biden continues his efforts to destroy Trump’s legacy, this time at the expense of the unborn.
On Monday, October 4, the Health and Human Services (HHS) department issued a press release announcing a new rule strengthening Title X’s Family Planning Program, a federal grant program providing family planning and reproductive health services to low-income patients.
The press release talked at length about “equitable, affordable, client-centered, quality family planning services” and the more than 50 year legacy of Title X. It also casually mentioned that the new rule replaced the Trump administration’s 2019 Title X Rule.

However, the HHS announcement failed to discuss the fact that, at its core, the new rule restores funding in the form of federal grants to organizations like Planned Parenthood, referring women and girls for abortion services as part of their so-called family planning services.
Xavier Becerra, a longtime ally of Planned Parenthood and current HHS secretary, praised the rule. According to him, it represents a move in the right direction by strengthening and restoring Title X to its former glory.
At best, this new rule serves to enhance Biden’s war on remaining Trump-era policies. At worst, it represents a renewed threat to the unborn.
