Brendan Paul, Diddy’s Alleged Mule, Arrested

(ReliableNews.org) – Rap mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs is the subject of a federal investigation. Reports allege it has something to do with the allegations of trafficking against him. Now, authorities have arrested a man accused of being his mule.

On March 25, federal authorities raided two homes belonging to Combs in Miami and Los Angeles. While agents were searching the houses, Miami-Dade Police arrested Brendan Paul, 25, at the Opa-Locka Airport in South Florida.

Law enforcement allegedly intercepted a private plane that he was going to board with Combs. In a lawsuit filed last year, Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones accused Paul of being the rapper’s “mule.” According to the suit, the former Syracuse basketball player regularly obtained and distributed guns and drugs for Combs. Jones also accused the rapper of drugging people who attended his parties.

Police charged Paul with one count of possession of a controlled substance and possession after authorities found drugs in his travel bags. Both of the charges are felonies. The police tested the substances and reportedly confirmed they were narcotics.

Paul posted a $2,500 bond later in the day and was released from jail. He has to appear for another hearing on April 24 at Miami-Dade Criminal Court.

According to reports, Combs’ alleged victims are speaking to authorities. Although the feds have not revealed what they are investigating him for, the New York Post reported a police source said authorities are responding to “concrete, detailed, explicit allegations.” They believe Combs could be responsible for a “disturbing history of trafficking.”

Multiple people, including Jones, have accused the rapper of forcing them to perform acts that they didn’t want to participate in. One of Combs’ former girlfriends went public and sued him, saying he abused her and trafficked her. He settled the lawsuit within one day of her filing it.
