“Barron Trump, 18, Fair Game Now,” Says Former TV Executive

(ReliableNews.org) – Barron Trump was just 10 years old when his father was elected president, the same age as Malia Obama when her dad took office. Former President Donald Trump and his wife, Melania Trump, have largely kept him out of the limelight. A former TV executive recently declared open season on the youngest child of the former POTUS because he is now an adult.

Political commentators have largely left Barron alone, even while attacking the former president’s adult children. Former NBC executive Mike Sington enraged Conservatives recently when he posted a since-deleted message on X, formerly Twitter, saying, “Barron Trump turns 18 today. He’s fair game now.”

On March 20, Barron turned 18 years old. Even though he grew up with one of the most famous men in the world as his father, the teen was largely kept away from the media frenzy that surrounds his family. His mom reportedly wanted him to have as normal a childhood as possible. When Trump took office, Barron and his mother stayed behind in New York City so that he could finish his school year.

The former NBC executive received so much criticism, that he reportedly deleted the message. He spoke to Newsweek about the remark, saying he wrote “‘fair game’ for criticism from the press” because he’s now an adult. Sington explained that he, in no way, meant that people should harm the teenager. “I don’t wish physical harm on anyone, so I took it down,” he said.

Republicans called it “creepy” that Sington would say such a thing. Former Trump official Michael R. Caputo called the former executive “completely broken.”

Javon A. Price, a former congressional aide to Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL), called Sington a “creep.”

Barron will graduate from high school at the end of the academic year. He’s reportedly looking at colleges, just as his father has once again been named the presumptive nominee for president. That means his family will once again be under scrutiny, and this time, he won’t be a 10-year-old boy.
